Professional Planning & Design

Once direction and budget alignment are clear, we move into a Kitchen Design Engagement.

This is a paid, professional service that combines strategic planning with early design development. It’s where the kitchen is properly designed — not guessed.

The design engagement includes:

• Lifestyle and usage analysis
• Layout development and refinement
• Storage and appliance planning
• Design decisions tested against real-world use
• Design direction and material guidance

We do not design kitchens speculatively or unpaid.
This stage is where time, judgement, and responsibility are fully invested.

Design engagement fees are explained clearly before work begins and credited back on order where appropriate.

Clarity Before Commitment

Once the design is agreed, we present:

• Finalised drawings
• Clear, fixed pricing
• Options and alternatives where relevant
• Lead times and next steps

There are no surprise extras and no pressure to proceed.
You will understand exactly what you are committing to and why.

Delivered With Intent

If you proceed, we manage:

• Manufacturing and ordering
• Delivery coordination
• Ongoing technical and installation support

For supply-only projects or builder-led installations, we provide clear documentation and guidance to ensure the kitchen is installed as designed.

We also work closely with builders and architects where appropriate, ideally early in the project, to reduce compromises later.

When It Hasn’t Gone to Plan

We offer a limited number of Kitchen Rescue projects each year.

These are for situations where:

• Layouts don’t work
• Kitchens were poorly planned
• Builder-led designs have caused compromise
• Clients feel something “isn’t right”

We assess what can realistically be improved and we’re honest if intervention won’t help.

Our services are best suited to clients who:

• Want clarity before spending significant money
• Value planning and long-term thinking
• Appreciate honest advice and challenge
• Prefer calm decisions over rushed ones
